Hello, my name is Tad Conroy.
My love of photography started when I was a young boy following my grandmother around the north woods searching for agates, and throwing rocks in streams as she photographed the local wildlife and landscapes.
I got my first camera from my mother when I was 15 years old just before my grandparents took me to Homer, Alaska on a mission trip to build a sanctuary. While in Alaska I stole away every chance I had to go fishing, explore the countryside and photograph everything from moose to sea-planes.
After high school I attended the University of Colorado in Boulder. I graduated with a degree in environmental design, however I took every photography class available and I spent countless hours in the studio the darkroom developing, and printing my work.
Recently I have focused on some commercial work and the portrait sessions.
If you have a project in mind or would like more information regarding a session drop me a line on the contact page.
